Life at the Lodge was quite relaxed this winter. The weather’s been great here on the protected shores of San Antonio Bay, treating us to some of the most gorgeous sunsets we’ve seen in months. And the pleasant nights are perfect for quiet evenings by the fire pit.
The fishing has been great too, with lots of redfish and trout biting from the boat and from the pier. And of course, that means lots of fresh seafood dinners from the gourmet kitchen. In addition to freshly caught and cooked seafood, there’s always plenty of homemade sausages from the game ranch.

It’s been relaxing, but we’ve had our share of excitement this year, too. In December, one of our Texas Longhorns, named Seven-Eleven, gave birth to a brand new baby bull. The mother and her calf, who’s been named Circle-K, are both doing well and enjoying the warmer weather with the rest of the herd.
And recently, our overnight guests were treated to a whole family of porpoises who spent hours swimming in and out of the lights right at the end of the community pier. Seems like we aren’t the only ones enjoying that prime fishing spot this season.
If you and your family are interested in a new home here at Bay Club, feel free to pay us a visit this spring—Falcon Point Ranch has plenty of room and plenty to offer year round. |
